The Therapist's Supervision Collective

The Therapist Supervision Collective is an ongoing monthly supervision space designed for emerging therapists and psychology students who work with clients. It offers structured weekly individual supervision alongside biweekly group process discussions within a consistent, small cohort.

This collective is built to strengthen case formulation, ethical clarity, therapist self-awareness, and professional confidence, while fostering a supportive peer community for sustained clinical growth.

Who This Is For

The Therapist Supervision Collective is designed for:

  • Psychology students conducting therapy sessions (pro bono)

  • Interns beginning independent client work

  • Early-career therapists seeking structured clinical guidance

  • Therapists who want greater clarity in case formulation

  • Practitioners looking for a reflective and ethically grounded supervision space

This program is suitable for those actively working with clients and ready to engage in structured, accountable supervision.

Program Structure

The Collective runs on a structured monthly cycle. Each cycle begins on the 1st of every month and continues through the full calendar month.

Each month includes:

  • 4 Weekly Individual Supervision Sessions (60 minutes each)

  • 2 Biweekly Group Supervision Sessions (90–120 minutes each)

  • A consistent cohort limited to 6 participants

A minimum three-month commitment is recommended to ensure continuity and meaningful professional development.

Individual Supervision

Weekly individual sessions focus on strengthening clinical reasoning and therapeutic direction.

Sessions include:

  • Review of presenting concerns and case patterns

  • Deepening of working formulations

  • Reflection on interventions used

  • Refinement of treatment direction

  • Exploration of therapist process and emotional responses

  • Ethical clarity and risk awareness

Supervision remains reflective and formulation-based rather than prescriptive. The aim is to develop independent clinical thinking and grounded therapeutic presence.

Group Supervision

Biweekly group supervision provides a structured space to explore process-related challenges in clinical work.

Within a consistent cohort of six, participants engage in discussions around:

  • Emotional activation in sessions

  • Countertransference and relational dynamics

  • Boundary dilemmas

  • Imposter experiences and therapist self-doubt

  • Shared reflections across diverse cases

The group space strengthens both clinical maturity and professional connection.

Ethical Framework

  • To ensure professional integrity:

  • All cases must be fully de-identified

  • Supervisees retain complete responsibility for their clients

  • Supervision remains consultative in nature

  • Emergency escalation protocols must be followed

  • Confidentiality agreements are mandatory

  • Sessions are not recorded

  • This structure maintains safety, clarity of roles, and ethical containment.

Investment

  • Monthly Supervision Package: Rs. 3100

  • Includes four individual supervision sessions, two group supervision sessions, and participation in a consistent cohort of six.

  • Each cycle begins on the 1st of every month. Enrollment is subject to seat availability.

"Loved the supervision offered by Kanchan ma’am. She is an amazing facilitator. Anything taught theoretically is done well, but the most important thing I learned is that even in therapy, it doesn’t matter what techniques we use, what matters is how we are at heart. Thank you ma’am for being the kindest."
